my insurance doesn't cover infertility or annovulation. Therefore, since going on clomid, everything is most likely not going to be covered by my insurance, including blood work. Well, my OBGYN REQUIRES a progesterone draw to check the hormone levels, at day 21 while on clomid "to see if it works". Well, I told the nurses. I know I didn't ovulate yet. Of course they couldn't understand how I magically know this. After explaining the reasons: CM, - OPKS, and lack of temp shift... they were like... "well, we are still required to check". So I was like, "Well, it's going to come back negative." Their response, "That's OK. We just have to see." I understand that the must follow certain standards, etc. but it gets very frustrating.Today I woke up with watery CM but a nice temp shift. I am confident I ovulated now. This is very exciting, but after so many disappointing cycles, I never like to get my hopes up.
fingers crossed that you ovulated. I am sorry the doctor's office is being a pain.
